Cast bronze filigree from the French Revolution Collection.
These pieces are inspired by the historical events which led to the brutal and bloody overthrow of the French Monarchy in the 18th Century. Objects of aristocratic opulence and mob mutiny are symbols used to highlight the iconic cultural associations from this time period.
These historic events were the beginning of modern democracy. We still have a long way to go to reach social and economic equity, but it was the French people that rose up against the torment of oligarchy and paved the way.
